Brandon Hebert to United States Army Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps

Brandon Hebert won a bugle position with the United States Army Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps in Washington, D.C.

Hebert was recently the Assistant Principal Trumpet of the Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra, and he has performed with the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra, Mobile Symphony Orchestra, and Monroe Symphony Orchestra. Hebert also performed with the Terre Haute Symphony Brass Quintet and the Indiana State University Brass Quintet. 

As a soloist, Hebert has performed with the National Music Festival Orchestra and the Louisiana State University Orchestra. He also won second prize in the LSU Concerto Competition and third place in the ITG Orchestral Excerpts competition. 

Hebert holds a Master of Music degree in trumpet performance with a Performer’s Certificate from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University. He received a Bachelor of Music degree in trumpet performance from Louisiana State University, graduating as a University Medalist.
